I joined Blueprint’s San Francisco team in June of 2018 after receiving my B.A. in the Biological Sciences from Cornell University. While at Cornell, I worked in a diagnostic Veterinary Coagulation laboratory and a research-focused biochemistry laboratory. I was also trained as a peer counselor through the Empathy, Assistance, and Referral Service (EARS). I am hoping to pursue a degree in genetic counseling within the next few years, and eventually a career within the field that will combine both my background in science and my passion for empathetic communication which I developed while counseling in EARS.
In my current role as a Client Services Associate, I am the point of contact for Canadian customers within the Client Services Team. I love that I am able to speak with genetic counselors every day – some of whom work at Blueprint and others who are Blueprint clients – but the best part of my job is working with the other members of the San Francisco Client Services Team. The whole team is motivated, enthusiastically supportive, and endlessly kind, and I am glad to be a part of it.
