We are now looking for a diligent and proactive Financial Controller to join our finance team in Keilaniemi, Espoo.

Job description

You will oversee all accounting activities, ensure financial statements are accurate and timely, and comply with accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting processes, financial systems, and continuous process improvement. You'll be working in a hybrid setting in our local finance team consisting of 8 professionals.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Preparing and producing reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, such as month-end reporting and balance sheet specifications for the parent company
  
• Ensuring FAS Compliance
• Coordinating internal and external financial audits
• Managing taxation processes in EMEA. You will drive the tax registrations processes in different European countries and oversee the reporting
• Developing and designing reporting process, accounting strategy and providing financial leadership including financial policies for the organization 

Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive, analytical professional that has the ability to work independently. Our ideal candidate has:

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or bookkeeping
• 5+ years of experience in financial audits or accounting
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Finnish both written and orally
• Excellent attention to detail, a results oriented mindset and great problem-solving skills.
