I work as a Product Specialist at Blueprint Genetics. My main responsibility is to take care of sample reception – the first step of production. At this step, we carefully screen the requisition forms and accession samples into our production systems. I’m also working with VUS clarification service together with the Interpretation Team. My responsibility is to make sure that the workflow works smoothly from the application reception to sample handling. I also work with ad hoc projects such as updating genetic testing registries.

I joined Blueprint Genetics on May 2012 when I was finishing my M.Sc. studies at the University of Helsinki. I graduated from Department of Genetics minoring in mathematics, marketing, Asian culture and language. Being part of the Blueprint Genetics team has been enjoyable and meaningful. It’s simply an honor to work with such motivated and skilled colleagues.
